Worst Trip I ever had on 10/1/2008 6:35:00 PM
My wife and I went to Los Cabos in 2007 and to make the trip special we booked a passion suite. The controls for the Jacuzzi did not work. We were informed that in the rush to open Desire they had purchased the wrong Jacuzzis on all suites and in order to use them you had to move the sofa out of the way, crawl under it and open the hot water one hour before being used. While they show us how to do it the water pipe burst inundating the suite and all three floors underneath.You can not go nude in the beach or swim in it because the undertow. Additionally if you want to walk the sand is very soft so you start sinking and makes it very difficult to walk.The pool has beds around it, but because the beds take so much space there are not enough chairs for over fifty percent of the guest. They have a tremendous turnover of employees therefore the service is non-existing and everyone has their hand out expecting a tip!If you want decent liquor you better bring your own. Most of the time they only had one bottle of good vodka or Scotch and once it was over they would not get another.Since we were in Cancun before this trip, for those of you that can make the comparison you will be extremely disappointed! There is no comparison on anything. The only good thing about this trip was the people we met,I could write several pages about everything that went wrong, but you get the picture.Never again!

We will be heading back down to Desire Cabo Jan 6th 2009 for 5 nights. This will be our 6th visit. We love it and have never had a bad trip. IS anyone else going to be there.

Hi everyone,Just thought we'd write this blog to see if anyone else has been affected by Desire Los Cabos changing to Temptation Resort in the Spring of next year. Having spent two enjoyable holidays at Desire Cancun, we thought we'd try the other side of Mexico and back in September booked/paid for 10days at Los ....only to be told a month or so later that the resort was changing. We are currently trying to get our money back etc but are having little/no luck with poor communication thrown in - Is anyone else experiencing the same plight as us? Any suggestions?C & M

My fiance and I are spending our January honeymoon at Desire Los Cabos. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of clothes my hubby to be can wear to the restaurants. Does he have to wear closed toes shoes or can it be sandals? Any other packing advice or general advice for first time visitors would be helpful! Thanks!!! We are so excited!!!
